What You’ll Actually Do
• General Ledger Management: Manage general ledger accounting across multiple Enpro sites, including preparing journal entries and assisting with the monthly accounting close process.
• Account Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations for balance sheet accounts.
• Intercompany Support: Support the reconciliation of intercompany account balances with other Enpro divisions.
• Financial Reporting Support: Assist in preparing quarter-end and year-end reporting packages to support SEC reporting requirements.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to streamline accounting processes, automate workflows, and drive greater efficiency across accounting operations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early-Level professional with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• Experience: Up to 2 to 3 years of accounting experience, preferably gained in public accounting or within a publicly traded company’s accounting function.
• Skills: Strong computer proficiency, including a detailed working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word; strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Bonus: Interest in pursuing or currently a CPA candidate; ability to travel up to 10% of the time as business needs require.
