Accounting Intern (Assurance or Tax) (Bismarck, ND) | Eide Bailly

The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Full-time (40-55 Hours/week), In Person
• Location: In-person, Bismarck, ND

• Mission: This person will contribute to client success by gaining hands-on experience in either assurance (participating in engagements and preparing reports) or tax (completing returns and applying maximum tax benefits).

What You’ll Actually Do
• Participate: Engage in client engagement meetings as part of the assurance team.
• Prepare: Generate accounting related reports for clients across a variety of industries.
• Complete: Process individual and business tax returns at varying difficulty levels.
• Analyze: Evaluate tax situations to ensure the maximum tax benefit is applied for clients.
• Travel: Go to client sites with the team for assurance engagements (10-40% travel may be required).

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Entry-Level.
• Experience: Working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and on track to sit for your CPA license.
• Skills: Accounting report preparation, tax return completion, deadline management, professional standards adherence, client confidentiality.
• Bonus: Authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship.
