Senior FP&A Analyst, Capital Investments | Dart Container

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Dart Container, located in Mason, MI. Dart makes everyday products like to-go containers and the red SOLO cup, enabling people to enjoy food and drinks on the go. In this role, you will go beyond the numbers to provide financial insight that directly influences profitability, strategic capital investment decisions, and long-term financial outcomes for the company.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Partner with business leaders to translate strategic goals into actionable financial plans.
• Develop and monitor financial forecasts for critical Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) processes.
• Build comprehensive ROI and capital investment analyses, including NPV, IRR, and payback for various projects.
• Lead capital portfolio reporting and analytics, encompassing spend tracking, forecasting, and investment prioritization.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess whether projects delivered their original financial benefits.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, serving in a senior-level financial analysis capacity.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in FP&A or a related financial role, demonstrating cross-functional partnership.
• Skills: Proven ability in financial analysis, modeling, forecasting, business-case development, and translating complex financial data into actionable insights and clear recommendations.
• Bonus: Prior experience in Food Service, National Accounts business, capital investment analysis, manufacturing, supply chain, or plant finance is preferred.
