What You’ll Actually Do
• General Ledger: Assist with the monthly accounting close and maintain the entity’s general ledger.
• Process Development: Develop and implement efficient procedures and policies for accounting activities and functions.
• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile balance sheet accounts and prepare accurate account reconciliations.
• Audit Support: Provide all requested information to assist with the annual audit process.
• Financial Oversight: Monitor the company’s cash position, perform other treasury functions, and manage inventory.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, with a foundational understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and core accounting concepts.
• Experience: 1+ years of experience in general accounting, including demonstrated skill in process improvement and automating accounting steps to create efficiencies.
• Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, and strong knowledge of GAAP, accounting rules, regulations, policies, and internal controls.
