• Mission: Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance by managing daily accounting tasks and supporting month-end close processes.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Transaction Processing: Perform daily accounting tasks including transaction entry, accurate expense coding, and account reconciliations.
• Financial Reporting Support: Prepare account reconciliations and journal entries to support the timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end closes.
• General Ledger Maintenance: Help maintain clients’ general ledgers, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of all financial data.
• Compliance and Improvement: Support compliance with GAAP, assist with tax filing coordination, and contribute to process improvements as well as client onboarding or data cleanup.
• Data Confidentiality: Handle sensitive financial data with the utmost discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, suitable for an early career accounting professional.
• Experience: 1+ year of general accounting experience.
• Skills: Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), alongside practical experience with QuickBooks and Excel.
• Bonus: Experience working with multiple clients is strongly preferred.
