This is a full-time internship at Plante Moran, located across multiple offices in Colorado, Illinois, Ohio, and Massachusetts, operating under a hybrid model with a preference for in-person interaction. As an intern, you will be treated like an entry-level staff member, contributing meaningfully from day one.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Participate: Engage in various phases of audit and/or tax engagements.
• Execute: Conduct planning, testing, research, and reporting activities.
• Manage: Work with compilations, reviews, compliance, financial statements, and benefit plans.
• Specialize: Engage in diverse tax types, including corporate, partnership, individual, international federal, and state & local taxes.
• Interact: Collaborate meaningfully with staff at all levels and with clients.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in accounting, or a Master’s degree in accounting or tax, with the plan to return to school following the internship. Must be on track to complete the requisite degree and supporting credits to sit for the CPA exam, with the goal of obtaining CPA licensure.
• Experience: No specific years of prior professional experience required, as this role is designed for students returning to school.
• Skills: Demonstrate strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical abilities, coupled with a detail-oriented and leadership mindset.
• Bonus: Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
