PROFESSIONAL TALENT DEVELOPMENT CEMENT COMMERCIAL | Cemex US

The Tone:
This is a full-time, 12-month Talent Development Program for recent graduates with Cemex US, located across the U.S. Cemex US is a leader in the building materials industry, committed to delivering quality products and services to customers and communities worldwide. This role is crucial for developing future professionals with hands-on experience and a comprehensive understanding of the company’s Cement Commercial operations.

• Team: Cross-functional teams within Cement Commercial operations
• Mission: To provide recent graduates with hands-on experience and comprehensive understanding of Cemex’s Cement Commercial division, developing skills for a successful career.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Promote Safety: Promote and adhere to safety standards across commercial activities, customer visits, terminals, plants, and operational environments as a primary core value.
• Participate in Rotations: Engage in a structured rotational program designed to provide exposure to key areas of Cement Commercial operations including Sales, Commercial Strategy, Customer Service, Marketing, Pricing, Supply Chain & Logistics, Demand Planning, Sustainability Solutions, Credit & Collections, and Operational Coordination.
• Drive Market Development: Gain a strong understanding of the cement business, customer segments, market dynamics, and competitive landscape, supporting customer relationship management and identifying growth opportunities.
• Conduct Business Analytics: Develop analytical and problem-solving skills through the evaluation of sales performance, market trends, pricing strategies, and customer insights to support decision-making and recommend actions.
• Cultivate Professional Growth: Build technical and professional competencies through on-the-job experiences, formal training, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration, strengthening leadership, communication, negotiation, project management, and strategic thinking.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level position requiring a recent bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Management, Sales Management, Marketing, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Experience: Previous experience from internships, co-op programs, or university projects that provided valuable insights into the industry.
• Skills: Proficiency in analytical and presentation skills.
• Bonus: A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred (minimum 2.5), leadership qualities and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving, and willingness to relocate within the U.S.
