Pharmacy Fellowship | RIS Rx

The Tone:
This is a full-time internship at RIS Rx, located in Irvine, CA. RIS Rx is a healthcare technology organization deeply involved in patient access and affordability, delivering impactful solutions across the healthcare continuum. This role is essential for PharmD graduates seeking accelerated career development, providing immersive experience in managed care, industry, and patient-focused services. Fellows will contribute to addressing common access barriers and improving overall patient outcomes.

• Mission: To provide PharmD graduates with hands-on experience and accelerated career development in managed care, industry, and patient-focused services to address healthcare access barriers.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), POS software, Pharmacy software

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support managed care operations and pharmaceutical services.
• Execute: Assist in pharmacy services and reimbursement strategy execution for partner manufacturers and pharmacies.
• Contribute: Participate in business development projects, including market research, data analysis, and client engagement.
• Develop: Develop expertise in patient-focused programs and adherence strategies.
• Lead: Manage a team of agents and supervisors to ensure timely execution of program deliverables while maintaining accuracy.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Doctorate Degree. Entry-Level. A PharmD degree, either recent graduates or within one year of graduation, with a strong interest in managed care, pharmaceutical industry services, and patient-centered healthcare.
• Experience: Entry-level experience demonstrating strong computer skills in Excel, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office, POS software, and pharmacy software.
• Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with an ability to work collaboratively, self-motivation, accountability, and dependability.
