• Mission: This person will gather, analyze, and interpret loan information to assess performance and recommend actions to address risk within the commercial real estate sector.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Copilot, Excel, PowerPoint
What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze: Conduct financial statement analysis and assess credit requests, providing recommendations tied to the analysis and assessment of credit risk.
• Underwrite: Underwrite new business opportunities for credit approval, including project, market, and sponsor financial analysis, structuring of loan terms, and risk evaluation.
• Monitor: Monitor existing loan portfolios, including market analysis, covenant compliance tracking, collection and analysis of financial statements, and ongoing assessment of risk factors.
• Report: Analyze financial statement results and prepare reports to communicate financial performance and trends with Portfolio Managers, Relationship Managers, and/or Credit Administration.
• Develop: Acquire technical and business acumen through training, mentorship, exposure to senior executives, and build a supportive peer community through cohort strengthening activities.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree completed in December 2026 or spring 2027, with a basic understanding of financial and accounting terms, concepts, and applications.
• Experience: Ability to start the development program on July 12, 2027; demonstrated leadership capabilities, strong work ethic, and intellectual curiosity.
• Skills: Well-developed analytical skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, acute attention to detail, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Bonus: Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above, ability to work well under pressure and time constraints, ability to work equally well in a team environment and independently, exhibiting initiative, ownership, and flexibility, experience with or exposure to Microsoft Copilot or other AI tools.
