Product Marketing Manager | Zendesk

The Product Marketing Manager will play a significant part in advancing the employee service sector by defining and executing go-to-market strategies to meet ambitious company goals.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Market Understanding: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the employee service market, specifically Enterprise Service Management (ESM) and IT Service Management (ITSM), including buyer personas, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.
• Messaging Development: Craft compelling product narratives and solution messaging that effectively communicate core use cases and the value of Zendesk’s employee service solution.
• Initiative Leadership: Lead cross-functional sales, marketing, and customer initiatives, collaborating with Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to develop and execute product launch strategies.
• GTM Enablement: Develop materials such as sales pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, and demos to support customer-facing interactions and enable GTM teams.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Support deals and customer engagements as a subject matter expert and evangelize Zendesk for Employee Service through public speaking engagements and analyst briefings.
The Must-Haves
• Background: An experienced professional focused on driving product, sales, and adoption initiatives for employee service business.
• Experience: 10+ years of B2B SaaS product marketing experience, with direct experience in the IT Service Management (ITSM) or Enterprise Service Management (ESM) market.
• Skills: Exceptional storytelling ability, superior analytical and problem-solving skills, executive presence, strong project management skills, and a customer-first mentality.
• Bonus: Proven experience in utilizing advanced AI tools to perform daily work and key projects, and comfort operating independently in a startup-like environment.
