ETDP Associate – Business Operations | enGen
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at enGen, which supports both office-based and remote work arrangements. enGen operates the Enterprise Technology Development Program (ETDP), a structured two-year initiative designed to cultivate early-career talent in critical business and technology domains. This Associate role within the Business Operations track is vital for developing future strategic business partners. These individuals will provide data-driven insights, robust operational support, and essential governance oversight to leadership teams, directly impacting organizational performance and driving continuous improvement.

• Mission: To serve as a strategic business partner within the ETDP, providing data-driven insights, operational support, and governance oversight to leadership teams, ultimately driving organizational performance and operational excellence through informed decision-making.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Collaborate: Partner with assigned leaders and stakeholders to actively support strategic planning activities, operational reviews, essential process improvements, and various business initiatives.
• Analyze: Conduct in-depth analysis of operational, workforce, financial, and overall business performance data to precisely identify key trends, potential risks, emerging opportunities, and actionable insights.
• Report: Develop, meticulously maintain, and consistently deliver recurring and ad hoc reports, comprehensive dashboards, informative scorecards, and engaging presentations tailored for leadership teams.
• Monitor: Systematically monitor operational compliance, ensure data quality and adherence to governance standards, and oversee business processes, identifying and escalating any issues as they arise.
• Optimize: Document critical processes, diligently maintain operational procedures, and proactively support continuous improvement efforts across various organizational functions.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Health Administration, or a closely related field, having graduated from an accredited program within the last year with a minimum GPA of 3.2, signaling a strong academic foundation for an early-career professional.
• Experience: Possess a minimum of one quality internship experience directly relevant to this position, demonstrate active participation in at least one club, volunteer effort, or other significant activity outside the classroom, and have practical experience in reporting, process improvement methodologies, and effective stakeholder collaboration.
• Skills: Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, proven experience in developing reports, dashboards, scorecards, and presentations utilizing business intelligence and reporting tools, strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines, effective verbal and written communication skills to clearly present findings, and proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
