This internship serves as the primary pathway for entry into their full-time tax team, offering significant responsibility and a direct route to a Tax Associate position upon graduation. • Mission: Prepare complex personal and business tax returns for high-income physician households, supporting the company’s goal of scaling tax services.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Preparation: Prepare real physician tax returns, including both personal and business filings, under the direct review of a Tax Manager.
• Learning: Learn advanced tax planning strategies such as S-corp optimization, depreciation, real estate tax considerations, and multi-state tax compliance.
• Ownership: Take early ownership of your assigned work queue and associated deadlines without needing follow-up.
• Efficiency: Utilize modern AI tooling and automation to focus efforts on critical judgment-based tasks, minimizing busywork.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with plans to pursue a CPA or EA designation.
• Experience: No specific years required, but candidates must demonstrate readiness to handle real responsibility, an ability to learn fast, and a strong desire to grow into a full-time tax role.
• Skills: Exceptional accuracy, strong organizational skills, high efficiency, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive work ethic that thrives on heavy workloads.
