What You’ll Actually Do
• Tax Preparation: Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local individual and business income tax returns, utilizing UltraTax CS tax preparation software.
• Workpaper Management: Create comprehensive workpapers in Engagement Manager and SurePrep, ensuring they clearly document the methodology used for project preparation.
• Workflow Management: Utilize FirmFlow for CRM and project management, alongside GoFileRoom for secure document storage, to maintain an accurate and up-to-date status of all workflows.
• Tax Research: Conduct thorough research and analytical tasks concerning a wide range of complex tax issues to support the team.
• Administrative Support: Provide essential support by performing other duties as requested by experienced Tax Advisors and Tax Administrators.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university, majoring in Finance, Accounting, or a related business degree, with a minimum 3.2 GPA.
• Experience: Active participation in campus organizations, preferably in a leadership role, and/or professional work experience.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Applications; strong collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills; keen, consistent attention to detail; ability to maintain confidentiality.
