• Team: Indirect Tax team
• Mission: Support the Indirect Tax team with compliance, research, reconciliations, and special projects, providing hands-on experience with various indirect taxes and tax compliance processes.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office

What You’ll Actually Do
• Compliance: Prepare and review sales and use, fuel excise, occupancy, and other indirect tax returns.
• Research: Research tax rates, taxability rules, and jurisdictional requirements to support the tax team.
• Reconciliation: Support the reconciliation of tax workpapers and all supporting documentation.
• Audit Support: Gather necessary documentation for audits, tax notices, and refund claims.
• Process Improvement: Support tax software maintenance, testing, and process improvement initiatives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High School degree or equivalent required. Currently enrolled in a four-year university program, at a sophomore level or above, pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: No specific prior work experience is required for this role.
• Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office, completion of Accounting I and II coursework, keen attention to detail, strong oral and verbal communication skills, organization skills, and demonstrated ability to be a team player.
• Bonus: Past internship experience is a plus.
