Summer 2027 – Accounting – Collegiate Associate Intern | Gulfstream Aerospace

The Tone:
This is an internship at Gulfstream Aerospace, located in GAC Savannah, Georgia. The TL;DR

• Mission: Support accounting operations and financial processes through real-world projects and analysis to ensure accuracy and efficiency within a world-class organization.
• Tech Stack: SAP, BlackLine, Power BI, Excel, Microsoft Office Suite tools

What You’ll Actually Do
• Month-End Support: Assist in the monthly and quarterly close processes, including the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Asset Management: Support capital expenditure reviews and fixed asset management activities, which includes asset tagging and tracking.
• System Administration: Provide financial systems administration support for key tools such as SAP, BlackLine, and other accounting applications.
• Dashboard Development: Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards, reporting tools, and automation solutions for various accounting functions.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements through financial, operational, and control automation initiatives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing an accounting degree (finance degree will be considered) or a master’s degree in a related field, with completion of entry-level accounting courses preferred.
• Experience: Must be enrolled as a full-time student at the time of application, actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher, and able to work at least 40 hours per week for a minimum of 10 weeks.
• Skills: Strong communication and analytical skills, ability to work well in a collaborative environment, and a self-motivated, results-driven approach.
• Bonus: Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Data Validation, PowerQuery) and other Microsoft Office Suite tools, working knowledge of SAP, and proper data management/Power BI dashboarding.
