What You’ll Actually Do
• Tax Analysis: Analyze tax implications associated with mergers and acquisitions for clients.
• Research: Conduct research on complex tax issues and draft comprehensive technical memorandums.
• International Tax: Provide assistance with international tax structuring and operational matters.
• Client Engagements: Prepare tax returns and serve as an integral part of engagement teams for clients.
• Tax Office Support: Assist with National Tax Office functions, including writing internal and external tax alerts on current developments.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level internship. Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in accounting, or a Master’s degree in accounting or tax.
• Experience: A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Strong interest in tax law, demonstrated by relevant coursework completed or planned before graduation. Must be pursuing an LLM, JD, or CPA license.
• Skills: Detail-oriented leadership, problem-solving, communication, and analytical abilities.
