What You’ll Actually Do
• Deliver Core Services: Build your accounting expertise as a Financial Management Associate while contributing to the comprehensive delivery of financial, tax, and treasury services across Macquarie’s global operations.
• Provide Strategic Insights: Partner closely with teams supporting Macquarie’s operating groups to deliver valuable insights, generate detailed reporting, and conduct financial analysis that supports business decision-making and helps manage Macquarie’s funding, liquidity, and capital position.
• Ensure Compliance and Governance: Work across regions to support essential reporting, uphold governance standards, and meet all regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Leadership: Engage directly with business leaders and senior stakeholders, providing crucial financial analysis, conducting market research, and delivering insightful business recommendations.
• Drive Professional Growth: Actively participate in a structured graduate rotational program, completing an initial 12-month rotation with the opportunity for a second six-month rotation based on business needs and career goals, while also receiving formal training in areas like financial modelling and presentation skills.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level Bachelor’s degree, with graduation expected between December 2026 – June 2027.
• Experience: Demonstrated comfort and proficiency in using Excel, coupled with a strong attention to detail.
• Skills: Possess critical thinking and strong numerical aptitude; ability to articulate thoughts and ideas clearly; comfort in collaborating with others and building strong working relationships; and a proactive, resourceful, and positive attitude combined with a powerful work ethic.
• Bonus: A keen interest in financial services, supported by relevant coursework in accounting, economics, or finance; students pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance are highly encouraged to apply.
