Head of Investment Administration | WiPro

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Servaada, a Wipro company, located in Bath, Somerset. Servaada is Wipro UK entity, authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), the UK financial services regulator, to undertake regulated activities on behalf of its clients, as an outsourced service provider. This critical leadership position involves the strategic and operational leadership of all investment administration functions. The role ensures the effective delivery of client services, regulatory obligations, and operational performance, significantly contributing to business objectives and service excellence.

• Mission: Owns the strategic and operational leadership of all investment administration functions, ensuring effective delivery of client services, regulatory obligations, and operational performance.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the Investment Administration strategy in alignment with business objectives, leading operational transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Operational Management: Provide leadership and oversight across all Investment Administration functions, ensuring delivery of agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Regulatory and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with FCA requirements, Consumer Duty, and CASS regulations, maintaining effective operational control frameworks and governance processes.
• Client and Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, custodians, fund managers, and third-party suppliers, acting as the key escalation point for operational and client matters.
• People Leadership: Lead and inspire a high-performing management team, establishing clear performance expectations and accountability while promoting colleague engagement and inclusion.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Significant leadership experience within Investment Administration, Wealth Management, Platform Operations, or Financial Services Operations. This role is a Certified Function Holder performing a Significant Management function under the Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR), due to substantial responsibility for a significant business unit.
• Experience: Extensive experience managing large operational teams. Proven experience managing operational risk and control environments, along with demonstrated success leading operational transformation and change initiatives.
• Skills: Strong understanding of investment products, platforms, and custody operations. Strong knowledge of FCA regulations, Consumer Duty requirements, CASS 6, and CASS 7. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, coupled with strong analytical and decision-making capability.
• Bonus: Investment Operations Certificate (IOC), Investment Management Certificate (IMC), Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) qualifications, Lean Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement certification, or experience within outsourced financial services operations.
