What You’ll Actually Do
• Planning: Support the engagement planning process for various audit assignments.
• Procedures: Conduct audit procedures on financial statement account balances and prepare/adjust work papers from client trial balances.
• Research: Research complex accounting issues to support audit findings and compliance.
• Financial Statements: Prepare compiled and reviewed financial statements under supervision.
• Drafting: Draft audited financial statements, including essential footnote disclosures.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level position for a Senior or fifth-year student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, working towards CPA eligibility.
• Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and audit programs.
• Skills: Strong oral and written communication, time management, organizational, and analytical skills; detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task effectively. Demonstrated knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Bonus: Knowledge of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) and Government Auditing Standards (GAS Yellow Book). Preference for experience with CCH Engagement.
