The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Cresta, with a hybrid work model allowing for remote work within the United States. Cresta builds a unified AI platform that transforms customer experiences by combining conversational AI agents, real-time human augmentation, and comprehensive conversation intelligence. This role is crucial for an early career accountant to shape the revenue to cash processes and support the scaling of the accounting function within a high-growth, cutting-edge AI company. You will work closely with Sales, Finance, and HR to strengthen the company’s financial operations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Close: Execute period-end close activities, including the preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and other relevant working papers.
• Payables: Manage vendor bills to ensure they are accounted for, reviewed, and paid in accordance with relevant policies.
• Receivables: Manage Accounts Receivable and collections efforts, partnering with the Sales team.
• Expenses: Manage and review expense reports for employees.
• Payroll: Assist in processing payroll for the company and overseas subsidiaries.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business; Entry-Level career level; demonstrated working knowledge of general accounting principles.
• Experience: 1 year or less of relevant work experience in accounting or auditing.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications; ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders; capacity to plan, execute, and deliver projects in a timely manner as an individual contributor.
