The Tone:
This is a full-time internship at GALLO, located in Hybrid Modesto, CA. GALLO is a family-owned company with a 90+ year legacy, building a portfolio of 130+ wine, malt, spirits, and ready-to-drink beverage brands, including the #1 wine and spirits brands in the U.S. This internship offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, bringing fresh perspective and analytical thinking to meaningful business challenges. Finance Interns will support critical financial and business-related analyses that inform management recommendations and help shape business decisions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Analysis: Conduct financial and business-related analysis, research, and special projects to inform recommendations for management.
• Reporting: Prepare work plans and schedules for various financial and accounting tasks.
• Evaluation: Analyze areas such as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital, and investment.
• Contribution: Contribute to reports that identify options and recommended actions for management.
• Development: Build practical skills, strengthen communication abilities, and gain exposure to management involvement in your professional development.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled at a college or university, working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, or Economics to be obtained between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Experience: Required to be 18 years or older. Rising Junior or Senior class standing at a college or university is preferred.
• Skills: Knowledge of the fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of the finance field. Experience with MS Excel, MS Access, MS Word, and Outlook.
• Bonus: Experience with JDE.
