This Accountant role is a pivotal step in a career path designed to prepare individuals for a Controller/VP of Finance position, overseeing all aspects of financial management and providing critical balance to the business’s marketing and operational functions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial statements for the business.
• Audit & Compliance: Perform branch audit evaluations to ensure adherence to policies.
• Reconciliation: Assemble bank reconciliation and account schedules to maintain financial accuracy.
• Month-End Close: Participate in the timely and accurate month-end closing process.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze income statement fluctuations to understand business performance.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Must have a completed Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: Must have basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Skills: Ability to perform accounting procedures, financial statement preparation, financial analysis, and support budgeting and forecasting.
