Fall/Spring Finance Internship | Bally’s Corporation

With a team of 11,500 diverse individuals, Bally’s operates across various sectors including Casinos & Resorts, Interactive, and Corporate, bringing entertainment from gaming floors to digital platforms. This internship offers a unique opportunity for individuals to make a direct and meaningful impact on critical projects within the Finance department, contributing to teams such as External Reporting, Technical Accounting, SOX & Accounting Governance, FP&A, and Shared Services.

• Team: Supports the Finance department, including External Reporting, Technical Accounting, SOX & Accounting Governance, FP&A, and Shared Services teams.
• Mission: To provide direct support on critical financial projects across various teams within the Finance department.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting Support: Prepare or assist with the preparation of financial reports and presentation materials for various stakeholders.
• Financial Data Management: Enter and organize financial data, including supporting invoice processing, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Budgeting & Modeling: Support budgeting and forecasting activities, and assist in building or updating spreadsheets and financial models.
• Audit & Month-End Assistance: Gather necessary data to assist with audits and the month-end close processes.
• Special Projects Contribution: Contribute to and assist with various ad hoc projects as needed by the finance team.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level position requiring a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Experience: No specific prior work experience is required; candidates must be currently enrolled in an accredited university.
• Skills:
• Financial Data Management: Capability to accurately enter, organize, and manage diverse financial data effectively.
• Spreadsheet & Modeling Proficiency: Strong skill set in building, updating, and utilizing spreadsheets and financial models for analysis and reporting.
• Research & Presentation Development: Ability to conduct thorough research, synthesize information, and prepare clear, professional presentation materials.
• Foundational Finance Knowledge: A solid understanding of core finance and accounting principles, essential for supporting various departmental tasks and contributing to financial operations.
