Part Time Hub Supervisor (Night) | UPS

The Tone:
This is a part-time night shift role at UPS, located in an in-person hub environment. This position plays a critical role in the nocturnal operations of our hubs, directly influencing the efficiency and reliability of our services. What You’ll Actually Do
• Team Leadership: Directly supervise Package Handlers, training and developing workgroups while holding them accountable for safety performance, production targets, and attendance standards.
• Operational Standards: Set and consistently maintain high standards across all operations, focusing on productivity, accuracy, customer service, hub organization, internal communication, inter-departmental cooperation, and overall safety.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure strict adherence to all safety policies and procedures by every employee at all times, operating in full compliance with department, station, corporate, and OSHA requirements.
• Resource Management: Manage and optimize department resources to guarantee maximum output, uphold accuracy, and achieve high efficiency in all operational processes.
• Employee Development: Establish and promote a positive, team-oriented work environment, emphasizing employee involvement, proactive communication, and continuous improvement; implement personal development plans and provide detailed orientation, skills and safety training, necessary materials, regular evaluations, and proactive coaching to support professional growth.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Supervisory level role requiring an understanding of warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring the smooth flow of nightly package processing.
• Experience: Demonstrable ability to manage operational schedules, with availability to work flexible night shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Skills: Strong capabilities in both oral and written communication for clear instruction and reporting; proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications for administrative tasks; physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (32 kgs.) as required in a warehouse setting; aptitude for working effectively within a busy warehouse environment.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s Degree or International equivalent; prior management experience.
