This Article Trainee role is designed to provide practical exposure to core chartered accountancy functions, enabling the successful candidate to deliver transparent, compliant, and accurate financial and regulatory outcomes under guidance.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Audit & Assurance Engagements: Assist in audit and assurance engagements, contributing to the review of financial records and operational processes to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Regulatory Compliance & Advisory: Support compliance and advisory work, focusing on areas related to tax, company law, and other pertinent regulations, including GST and direct taxes.
• Financial Documentation & Analysis: Help in preparing financial statements, developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation and working papers, and performing basic analytical reviews of financial data.
• Data Management & Client Coordination: Maintain organized records and files, update internal systems, and coordinate effectively with clients for the timely collection of necessary data and information.
• Reporting & Professional Contribution: Contribute to the development of reports and presentations, learning to articulate financial and regulatory insights under the direct guidance of senior professionals.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Strong academic background in commerce, accounting, finance, or a related discipline, with a sound understanding of basic accounting principles, financial reporting, and auditing concepts.
• Experience: Willingness to learn statutory and tax audit procedures, including exposure or eagerness to learn areas such as GST, direct taxes, and company law requirements.
• Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools, effective written and verbal communication, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a structured approach to managing tasks and deadlines.
• Bonus: Eligibility or enrollment in a Chartered Accountant program is preferred; familiarity with accounting and audit software will be an advantage.
