The Tone:
This is an internship at RÖDL USA, located across multiple US offices, including Atlanta, GA, Manhattan, NY, Chicago, IL, and Denver, CO. RÖDL USA is a professional services firm that provides accounting, auditing, tax, and business consulting to foreign-owned subsidiaries in the U.S., primarily German-speaking and European family businesses. This role offers the opportunity to gain practical insights and experience in international auditing, accounting, and tax consulting within a truly global workplace. The intern will contribute to supporting international clients and develop foundational skills in US and German financial practices.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Gain practical experience across all aspects of US-American and German auditing and tax consulting.
• Receive comprehensive training in various areas, including ProSystems Engagement, Microsoft Excel, and specific accounting procedures.
• Support the team with the preparation of bank reconciliations and cash audits.
• Engage in challenging tasks and projects within an international business environment.
• Assist with the preparation of tax estimates for clients.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level, with at least three semesters of economics studies focused on international accounting, auditing, or taxes.
• Experience: Prior theoretical or practical experience in accounting or taxes, and a commitment to a 6-month internship.
• Skills: Fluent knowledge of German and English in both written and spoken forms, strong analytical abilities, self-initiative, high commitment, and a focus on quality.
• Bonus: Previous internships abroad and other additional qualifications are preferred.
