Evonik Rotation Program – Early Career Engineers | Evonik

The Tone:
This is a two-year Rotational Program at Evonik for early career engineers, requiring mobility and willingness to relocate across North America and internationally. • Location: Willing to relocate (NA and/or internationally)
• Pay: $85000–$90000 yearly
• Mission: Support process optimization, capital projects, and operational excellence initiatives to improve process performance, equipment reliability, product quality, and production efficiency in chemical manufacturing.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office applications

What You’ll Actually Do
• Technical Support: Provide technical and methodological assistance to production and operations areas to increase productivity or reliability of processes and equipment.
• Project Evaluation: Support the evaluation of concepts for expansions, including capital investment projects, quality increases, production availability, and operations management.
• Engineering Development: Provide technical support in basic engineering, detail engineering, process development, and scale-up of customer or production projects.
• Data Analysis: Analyze, monitor, and document data using defined tools, methods, and formats to improve processes and increase reliability or quality of processes and products.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with departments such as procurement, plant engineering, supply chain, EHSQ, HR, controlling, and regulatory to support project or task execution.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, received in Spring 2027. This is an Entry-Level position.
• Experience: Knowledge of engineering fundamentals, standard industry practices, and regulatory requirements or operations management. Previous work experiences, such as Co-Op or internships, in the chemical industry are preferred.
• Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills; ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization; demonstrated ability to think critically and solve problems; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; highly organized and efficient in time management.
