Alliances Manager | Aon Consulting

The Tone:
This is a hybrid role at Aon Consulting, with the flexibility to work virtually and from the London office. Aon Consulting shapes decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world. This role is crucial for empowering results for clients by delivering effective solutions as part of the Strategic Alliances group within Aon’s Cyber Solutions Team. The position focuses on building and strengthening Aon’s partner channels and accelerating the Alliances program to support client needs.

The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Location: Hybrid – London, England, United Kingdom
• Team: Strategic Alliances group within Aon’s Cyber Solutions Team, based in the UK
• Mission: Continue building and strengthening Aon’s partner channels, collaborating with leaders to identify gaps and accelerate Aon’s Alliances program, ultimately driving sales success and solving client security gaps.
• Tech Stack: EDR, MDR, XDR, backup/recovery, PAM/IAM, OT, Email security, Microsoft Office suite products (Word, Excel, ppt)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operationalization: Operationalize and onboard a network of value-added partners to help sell through to Aon clients.
• Client Engagement: Drive client conversations and identify client-related security gaps that can be solved by one of Aon’s channel arrangements.
• Sales Collaboration: Work cohesively with regional sales to identify, support, and close new business opportunities.
• Market Proficiency: Gain proficiency in the channel markets Aon is aligned to, including but not limited to EDR, MDR, XDR, backup/recovery, PAM/IAM, OT, and Email security.
• Opportunity Management: Manage, review, track, and report on all partner-related opportunities to ensure progress and success.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent years of equivalent experience, at a manager level.
• Experience: Demonstrated success in helping grow new sales programs, ideally within cyber or related markets, with a strong philosophy around business operations.
• Skills: Sales enablement, operations, prospecting, business development, analytical thinking about business, product, and technical challenges, the ability to convey compelling value propositions, and working cross-organizationally to build consensus.
• Bonus: Related product knowledge preferred.
