• Mission: Ensure the accuracy of financial records and support the timely preparation of financial statements and tax returns for the organization.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial statements and tax returns for compliance and internal reporting.
• General Ledger Management: Prepare and post journal entries to the General Ledger, ensuring accuracy and proper classification.
• Account Reconciliation: Perform regular account reconciliations and diligently maintain comprehensive depreciation records.
• Data Integrity: Review financial information supplied by various operating departments to confirm accuracy.
• Asset & Compliance Support: Enter fixed asset data into the financial system and prepare and maintain tax and license records.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in Accounting.
• Experience: Entry-level experience in an Accounting or Finance-related capacity.
• Skills: Proficiency in preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and preparing financial statements; professional appearance and demeanor.
• Bonus: One year of professional experience in an Accounting or Finance related field.
