What You’ll Actually Do
• Tax Preparation: Prepare tax returns and tax extensions.
• Information Management: Organize tax information.
• Client Support: Assist with tax notices and examinations.
• Software Proficiency: Maintain working knowledge of tax preparation software used in the office.
• Administrative Duties: Perform various administrative tasks, as needed.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level role for a junior or student one year prior to graduation in a 4- or 5-year program. Candidates must have completed at least one tax class and possess a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0. Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Experience: Availability to work a minimum of 25 hours each week, including flexibility for weekend work as needed.
• Skills: Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills; detail-oriented; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bonus: Participation in the VITA Program.
