The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Seasonal (January to April 2028, 25 hours per week)
• Location: In-person Alexandria, VA

• Mission: This intern will gain practical experience by preparing tax returns and working with client engagements during the 2028 tax season.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare: Prepare tax returns accurately and efficiently for diverse clients.
• Engage: Work on client engagements, supporting various accounting tasks.
• Collaborate: Collaborate with experienced professionals within a supportive team environment.
• Train: Undergo structured training combined with hands-on client work.
• Grow: Participate in regular check-ins and receive support from a dedicated mentor, peer buddy, and supervisor to foster growth and development.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Students pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting.
• Experience: No specific years of experience are required, as this role is designed to provide practical experience in tax preparation and client engagements.
• Skills: Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills are essential. A professional, positive, and collaborative attitude is also required.
• Bonus: A 3.0 GPA is preferred.
