This role is crucial for transforming strategic business objectives into actionable data solutions and delivering essential Financial Planning Data Products.
The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Location: In-person Singapore
• Team: Customer Strategy & Analytics team; reports to the head of business intelligence and analytics based in Australia.
• Mission: Transform business strategies into actionable data solutions and support the delivery of Financial Planning Data Products.
• Tech Stack: Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, Power Apps, ETL processes
What You’ll Actually Do
• Translate: Translate complex business strategies into practical data management approaches tailored to specific organizational domains.
• Manage: Manage new data initiatives by defining business cases, gathering requirements, tracking progress, and prioritizing projects for timely delivery.
• Establish: Establish standards for data governance across the Asia Pacific corporate banking division, ensuring consistency and compliance.
• Oversee: Oversee access permissions by developing robust plans, monitoring data distribution, and approving provisioning requests.
• Design: Design, develop, and deploy efficient data pipelines using Alteryx or similar tools to integrate diverse datasets into the APAC Datawarehouse.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent, with a focus on data management and reporting.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in banking or consultancy environments; demonstrated proficiency in Alteryx for designing scalable data pipelines, alongside hands-on experience with Tableau, Power BI, Power Apps, and ETL processes.
• Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective communication with technical teams and senior stakeholders; proven project management leadership abilities to coordinate multiple initiatives; deep understanding of relevant data sources, transformation rules, and reconciliation techniques.
• Bonus: Experience managing metadata changes, including reviewing lineage documentation and validating business definitions; a growth mindset coupled with enthusiasm for continuous learning; resilience under pressure combined with positivity and a solution-oriented approach.
