What You’ll Actually Do
• Reporting Documentation: Roll forward all external reporting documents for upcoming quarters, ensuring readiness for submission.
• Data Accuracy: Review all existing documents to ensure that prior period numbers are accurate and consistent across reports.
• Reporting Streamlining: Use data derived from the cash flow process to streamline and improve the efficiency of financial reporting.
• Financial Analytics: Assist with the preparation of comprehensive cash flow and balance sheet analytics to support financial understanding.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor the company’s financial performance by analyzing and reporting on variances from the established plan.
• Strategic Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc analysis to ensure the best corporate decisions are made, contributing to operational and financial objectives.
• Process Development: Increase productivity by collaborating with internal partners to develop and implement repeatable business processes.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level, actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; must be at least a sophomore at the time of application.
• Experience: Must maintain an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher and be in good academic standing; capable of working at least 40 hours per week during the internship.
• Skills: Detailed working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint applications; fluency in English (written & verbal).
• Bonus: Prior related internship or co-op experience; demonstrated leadership experience in academic or professional settings; strong project management skills, including the ability to innovate and execute solutions; strong interest in leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies for enhanced productivity and decision-making; strong written and verbal communication, planning, and organizational skills.
