• Mission: To actively support the corporate Tax Department in essential compliance and operational tasks, thereby contributing to the accurate preparation and review of tax documents and fostering an understanding of corporate tax functions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Preparation: Support the Tax Department by gathering and meticulously organizing necessary financial data and documentation required for various tax paperwork and filings.
• Document Drafting: Draft sections or complete components of different tax paperwork, ensuring preliminary accuracy and adherence to guidelines provided by the team.
• Return Review: Engage in the review process for Federal and state income tax returns, methodically verifying information and identifying any potential discrepancies.
• External Engagement: Actively participate in various scheduled meetings with outside consulting firms, leveraging these opportunities to observe and learn the intricate operational dynamics of a corporate Tax Department within a large organization.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Candidates must be currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Accounting, and remain enrolled through the duration of the internship program. A minimum of 60 college credit hours must be completed at the time of application, along with maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (overall).
• Experience: US Work Authorization is a mandatory requirement, valid through the entire internship period from January 11, 2027, to May 14, 2027. The ability to consistently work part-time, specifically between 20 to 29 hours per week, is also essential for this role.
• Skills: Demonstrable business fluent proficiency in English, both written and verbal. Possess advanced knowledge and practical application skills in Microsoft Excel, crucial for data handling and analysis within the department.
