What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze Data: Perform actuarial research, experience studies, statistical analyses, and modeling to help manage company risk.
• Develop Products: Contribute to the development and enhancement of products by presenting analysis, forecasting, and assessing industry trends.
• Compile Reports: Compile and categorize data, assisting in the preparation of statistical schedules, financial statements, and other actuarial information.
• Run Models: Input data and operate pricing, reserving, or asset/liability models, documenting and verifying computations.
• Develop Expertise: Gain detailed exposure to various actuarial career paths through a rotational program, learning and applying actuarial techniques.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or related field.
• Experience: Previous internship in actuarial science or a related field, completion of 1 actuarial exam, and active participation in the Actuarial Student Program with intent to pursue FSA.
• Skills: Ability to interpret complex analytical data; strong verbal and written communication of advanced mathematical and analytical concepts; advanced computer skills including Microsoft Excel; ability to work effectively under pressure and time constraints.
• Bonus: Advanced organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills; programming skills.
