What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Provide direct assistance to various members of the Corporate Accounting, Tax, and Accounting Operations teams, including Managers and Directors, to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Contribute: Participate actively in month-end close procedures, preparing necessary journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and conducting ad hoc analyses related to areas such as prepaid expenses, accrued expenses, fixed assets, inventory, revenue recognition, and accounts payable.
• Facilitate: Aid in the interim and year-end audit procedures by efficiently compiling and organizing all requested audit support documentation for Manager review prior to submission to auditors.
• Enhance: Assist the internal controls function, which includes contributing to the updating of process narratives and flowcharts, and working on other special projects as assigned to maintain robust internal controls.
• Learn: Gain valuable exposure to the SEC public company reporting process by supporting the External Reporting team, which includes insights into the development of the Company’s Form 10-K.
• Analyze: Perform various ad hoc financial analyses, reporting tasks, and special projects as needed to support financial decision-making across the department.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Candidates must be currently enrolled in a college degree program working toward a Bachelor’s degree, with an anticipated graduation between December 2027 or Spring 2028. An Accounting major is preferred for this entry-level role.
• Experience: While no specific years of experience are required, previous experience working in an office environment is preferred to ensure familiarity with professional settings.
• Skills: A basic understanding of US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), core accounting principles, and the structure of the core financial statements is essential. Strong interpersonal communication, effective writing abilities, and excellent organizational skills are also required.
• Bonus: Experience with MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, is a plus. Additionally, familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite or Purchase-to-Pay tools like Coupa will be beneficial. Strong academic performance, specifically a GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher, is preferred.
