Senior Procurement Analyst, Packaging | HelloFresh
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at HelloFresh, located in New York, New York and Newark, New Jersey. HelloFresh is an industry leader in meal-kit subscription services, aiming to revolutionize eating by making cooking convenient and exciting. This role is crucial for the North American Packaging organization, as it establishes the backbone for forecasting, budgeting, and spend analytics, ensuring the packaging supply chain operates efficiently across all brands.

• Mission: Own the forecasting, budgeting, and spend analytics backbone of the NA Packaging organization to ensure an efficient packaging supply chain.
• Tech Stack: Databricks, Snowflake, Python, Airflow, Excel, Google Sheets
What You’ll Actually Do
• Budget Ownership: Own the annual NA packaging budget, translating supplier plans into material volumes, network plans, and cost/box estimates by brand.
• Demand Forecasting: Produce and validate the weekly in-week demand forecast across all NA brands, driving packaging material ordering and procurement decisions.
• Spend Analytics Leadership: Lead packaging spend analytics, including weekly and month-end budget vs. expected vs. actuals, variance investigations, and driving corrective actions with operations partners.
• Engineering to Forecast Translation: Own the translation of packaging engineering configurations and network fulfillment requirements into a packaging forecast at all time horizons.
• Tool and Codebase Management: Maintain and evolve the packaging scripts codebase (Databricks, Airflow, Python, Snowflake) and core planning tools.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Analytics, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience; Senior-level experience in supply chain analytics, FP&A, or operations analytics, ideally in packaging, manufacturing, or CPG/food.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in supply chain analytics, FP&A, or operations analytics. Experience with forecasting/demand planning models, ideally in a multi-brand or multi-SKU environment. Hands-on experience with COGS or budget variance analysis.
• Skills: Proficiency in Databricks and Snowflake (or equivalent SQL-based platforms); strong Excel/Google Sheets modeling skills; highly analytical with clear communication skills.
• Bonus: Python and Airflow experience a strong plus.
