What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Review: Review and confirm expense ledgers, preparing for the monthly closing process.
• Expense Management: Manage employee expense reimbursements and company credit card accounts.
• Asset Tracking: Review the fixed asset schedule and calculate depreciation expense on a monthly basis.
• Reporting: Prepare and process journal entries and conduct account reconciliations for month-end close.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial information to prepare balance sheets, profit/loss statements, and other required financial reports.
• Compliance: Manage the review and audit responses and documentation for various financial aspects.
• Policy Development: Develop and enforce proper accounting practices within the department and the wider company.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field. Entry-level candidates with relevant internships are considered.
• Experience: 0 – 3 years of accounting experience. Multi-state tax experience is desired.
• Skills: Solid understanding of accounting practices and controls; strong analytical skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; attention to detail and accuracy; proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Bonus: Bilingual in Korean and English desired; CPA or EA preferred.
