• Mission: Own the accurate and timely management of cash applications, invoicing, and financial reporting for customer accounts.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Cash Application: Post lockbox and in-house payments, apply cash to customer accounts and invoices, and research issues to ensure accuracy.
• Sales Invoicing: Process sales orders, follow up with plants and marketing on billing issues, and continually improve billing system processes.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports for auditors, customers, and Plastipak internal users.
• Rebate Management: Analyze and track customer rebates and accruals accurately.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance. Entry-level.
• Experience: Up to 2 years of relevant experience, including internships.
• Skills: Exceptional time and personal management, strong communication, relationship management, and attention to detail.
