What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial data analysis: Thoroughly review and analyze complex financial data for businesses operating in diverse industries, including manufacturing, construction, healthcare, and not-for-profit organizations.
• Audit assistance: Actively assist and learn the process of auditing the financial data of our clients to meticulously determine the reasonableness and accuracy of the information presented.
• Substantive testing: Perform detailed substantive testing procedures in critical accounting areas such as cash, accounts payable, accounts receivables, and inventory to validate financial statement assertions.
• Tax return preparation: Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for both individuals and corporations, while also assisting experienced professionals with tax planning and projection activities.
• Research and special projects: Conduct research on tax regulations and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), and provide support for various miscellaneous tax, assurance, bookkeeping, or consulting projects on an as-needed basis.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Must be a current student actively majoring in Accounting, with a strong academic standing demonstrated by a GPA of 3.0 or above, and having successfully completed at least two (2) college-level accounting courses.
• Experience: No specific years of prior professional experience are required, but candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Skills: Demonstrated strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Possess strong verbal, written communication, and analytical skills, along with the ability to work effectively independently on tasks and projects while also collaborating seamlessly with peers in a team-oriented environment.
