What You’ll Actually Do
• Understand the Industry: Build a deep understanding of the financial services industry, its regulatory environment, and TIAA’s competitive position within it.
• Drive Business Outcomes: Contribute to initiatives that directly inform business decisions, drive measurable outcomes, and enhance the overall client experience.
• Develop Relationships: Communicate clearly and effectively, building essential relationships and influencing skills for enterprise-level work.
• Inform Career Trajectory: Gather knowledge across multiple business functions within TIAA Wealth Management & Advice Solutions to help inform your long-term career path.
• Gain Foundational Exposure: Begin your journey in the Chief Administrative Office, gaining firsthand exposure to how TIAA’s Wealth Management & Advice Solutions organization is managed, governed, and strategically driven.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree. Career Level 5IC (entry-level).
• Experience: No prior experience required. Must have authorization to work in the U.S. and not require current or future work visa sponsorship to retain authorization.
• Skills: Business Acumen, Communication, Data Analysis, Problem Solving, Relationship Management.
• Bonus: Prior participation in TIAA’s Summer Associate Internship Program, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, deep curiosity, drive, an entrepreneurial mindset, a passion for client service, an interest in business strategy, analytics, operations, or product management within financial services, and an overall GPA of 3.0 or better.
