Staff Accountant | Specialized Dental Partners

The Tone:
This is a Staff Accountant role with Specialized Dental Partners, a doctor-led network supporting over 275 specialty dental practices and 450+ doctors across multiple states. The TL;DR

• Pay: $60000–$75000 yearly
• Team: Reports to a divisional senior or manager within the accounting team.
• Mission: This person owns the day-to-day accounting activities and supports financial reporting for a growing network of specialty dental practices.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel), General Ledger (GL)/Accounting software (Sage Intacct is a plus)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage daily accounting operations: Oversee the day-to-day accounting activities related to business operations for the company.
• Execute core financial tasks: Perform essential accounting functions including general ledger entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Support month-end close: Assist the accounting team in month-end close procedures, including performing bank reconciliations and tracking fixed assets.
• Provide analytical insights: Perform basic data analysis to report recent and historical financial performance, and compare business outcomes against budgets and prior periods.
• Assist in process improvement: Contribute to the planning and implementation of various business processes to enhance and support business activities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level, with a Bachelor’s Degree concentrating in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: No specific years required, but familiarity with General Ledger (GL) and other accounting software is expected.
• Skills:
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard office software applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills, organizational abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Aptitude for using technology to collect, manipulate data, determine significant findings, and present information clearly.
• Capability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively under strict deadlines.
• Bonus: Experience with Sage Intacct accounting software is a plus.
