Human Resources Business Partner, GF Malta (2027 New College Graduate) | GlobalFoundries
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at GlobalFoundries, located in Malta. GlobalFoundries is a leading manufacturer of essential semiconductors, which enable AI at scale from the cloud to the physical world. This role is crucial for a high-potential new college graduate to join the Human Resources team, directly supporting the Fab 9 Manufacturing organization. You will help translate business priorities into clear people plans, talent actions, workforce insights, and practical solutions within one of GlobalFoundries’ most important semiconductor manufacturing sites.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Partner with leaders: Collaborate with HR Business Partners and manufacturing leaders to understand business priorities and translate them into practical workforce plans, talent actions, organization support, and change-management activities.
• Support talent routines: Assist with key talent and performance processes, including goal setting, calibration, development planning, succession support, retention reviews, manager follow-up, and clear documentation.
• Navigate people matters: Coordinate with Employee Relations, Legal, Total Rewards, Talent, and HR Operations to gather context, connect resources, and help leaders address people matters with sound judgment.
• Analyze workforce data: Examine workforce data from Workday and related systems to identify trends in attrition, engagement, staffing, compensation, and talent risk, creating concise insights, dashboards, and recommendations for leaders.
• Ensure safety: Perform all job activities in a safe and responsible manner, actively supporting all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Graduating with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Labor Relations, Data Analytics, or a related field from an accredited program, with at least an overall 3.0 GPA.
• Experience: Must be a new college graduate. Prior related internship or co-op experience is preferred.
• Skills: English fluency (written & verbal), strong planning & organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bonus: Demonstrated prior leadership experience, strong interest in leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies, project management skills, coursework/experience in human resources, organizational development, manufacturing, workforce analytics, employee relations, or change management, and familiarity with HR information systems like Workday, data visualization, Microsoft Excel, or Power BI.
