This internship offers hands-on exposure to the firm’s inner workings, allowing individuals to gain real-world experience and practical skills using current office and taxation technology. The role contributes directly to supporting client service, tax planning, and compliance efforts, and offers learning opportunities from industry experts in a collaborative environment.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Assist: Assist with tax planning and preparation activities.
• Support: Provide support for client meetings through detailed preparation and administrative tasks.
• Participate: Participate in advanced financial planning areas such as cash flow, estate, and business succession planning.
• Support: Support the client services and administrative teams by handling tasks as requested.
• Contribute: Contribute to both internal firm-wide projects and specific client initiatives.
• Attend: Attend client meetings in a supporting capacity to observe and learn client interaction.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Actively pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree.
• Experience: Possess a strong interest in individual taxation and wealth management, eager to gain practical experience in the field.
• Skills: Demonstrate high-level proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, along with experience using Copilot; possess excellent communication and writing abilities, capable of translating complex topics concisely and in a friendly manner for clients and colleagues; organized, meticulous, and able to efficiently multitask.
• Bonus: Business majors with a focus on accounting and taxation are preferred; individuals who are strong critical thinkers and initiative-takers; a team player with a collaborative mindset and an ability to build respectful and trusting relationships with colleagues and clients; able to maintain the highest standards of ethics, confidentiality, objectivity, and integrity; demonstrates a sense of urgency to complete tasks in a timely manner; adaptable to changing circumstances; and has a desire to give back to communities and enrich the lives of those around them.
