What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Support: Provide assistance to clients on a range of reimbursement consulting projects, including Medicare and Medicaid Disproportionate Share, Medicare Bad Debts, and Uncompensated Care Reporting.
• Software Learning: Engage in learning new internal software and platforms specific to the consulting practice.
• Data Analysis: Demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, which involves compiling and assessing large data sets and identifying potential data concerns or issues.
• Technical Development: Learn and develop new technical knowledge relevant to the consulting practice and the clients being served.
• Client Experience: Deliver Forvis Mazars’ commitment to an unmatched client experience through timely and responsive communication with internal and external clients.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, analytics, or healthcare administration from an accredited university, maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher (in major and overall).
• Experience: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and strong Excel skills.
• Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, effective time management skills, close attention to detail, and strong oral and written communication skills.
• Bonus: Ability to intern from January 2027 through August 2027.
