What You’ll Actually Do
• Understand Industry: Build a deep understanding of the financial services industry, the regulatory environment, and TIAA’s competitive position within the market.
• Drive Outcomes: Contribute to initiatives that directly inform business decisions, drive measurable outcomes, and enhance the overall client experience.
• Develop Relationships: Communicate clearly and effectively, building essential relationships and influencing skills for enterprise-level work.
• Explore Functions: Gather knowledge across multiple business functions within TIAA Wealth Management & Advice Solutions to inform your long-term career trajectory.
• Complete Rotations: Complete three, eight-month rotational assignments over two years, gaining hands-on experience in areas like Wealth Performance & Analytics, Business Enablement, Advice & Experience Product Management, and Wealth Strategy.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree required. This is an early career role (Career Level 5IC) with no prior professional experience required.
• Experience: No prior work experience required. Must have authorization to work in the U.S. and not require current or future work visa sponsorship.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, deep curiosity, business acumen, effective communication, and a passion for client service.
• Bonus: Prior participation in TIAA’s Summer Associate Internship Program, an interest in business strategy, analytics, operations, or product management within financial services, and an overall GPA of 3.0 or better.
