Controlling Intern | Porsche Cars North America

The Tone:
This is a six-month, full-time internship at Porsche Cars North America, located in Atlanta, Georgia. Porsche Cars North America manages the import, distribution, and marketing of luxury sports cars across the region. This role is essential for supporting the Financial Analyst and the Controlling team by providing financial analysis and assistance with critical reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

• Mission: To provide financial support and analysis by assisting with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes for accurate performance information.
• Tech Stack: MS Excel, PowerPoint, financial software and tools

What You’ll Actually Do
• Reporting: Assist with the monthly close process, including preparation of journal entries, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
• Forecasting: Support Preview forecasting and its implementation.
• Analysis: Create and maintain monthly analysis reports for assigned areas and provide financial support to department managers and teams.
• Reconciliation: Assist with tracking assigned accruals during month-end close.
• Operations: Process manual Manufacturer Statements of Origin (MSOs) for all Porsche dealers.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Undergraduate degree (or junior or senior actively pursuing an undergraduate degree) in finance, accounting, or equivalent at an accredited college or university. Entry-Level.
• Experience: Availability to complete a six-month internship from August 2026 through March 2027, working 40 hours per week, with three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Solid understanding of basic accounting and finance principles.
• Skills: Detail-oriented analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy, strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to effectively manage multiple tasks with strong time management skills, strong computer skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
