This is a rotational program for recent graduates at Stanley Black & Decker, located in hybrid roles across New Britain, CT; Towson, MD; or Valley City, OH. • Mission: Accelerate the development of future Human Resources leaders through structured rotational assignments and project contributions.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Advisor: Build relationships and become a trusted advisor to various business groups, ensuring solutions support business goals.
• Project Leadership: Lead HR and analytics projects to streamline processes and improve working capital turns, while communicating challenges effectively.
• Assignment Management: Plan, manage, and deliver on projects assigned during rotational assignments.
• Training Facilitation: Facilitate structured training programs to support business transformation initiatives.
• Reporting & Presentation: Report out and present project deliverables to program peers and company leaders regularly.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, Analytics, or Communications.
• Experience: Prior internships in HR, Analytics, or Project Management, combined with demonstrated leadership experience and a strong academic background.
• Skills: Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, presentation, and facilitation communication skills; demonstrated quantitative, analytical, creative problem-solving, and conceptual abilities; resourceful navigation and problem-solving skills; excellent networking and collaboration skills for building alliances and influencing others; strong organization skills with attention to detail, enabling proactive prioritization and timely handling of multiple assignments.
