Entry Level Financial Advisor Opportunity | Year Up United

The TL;DR
• Role: Internship / Early Career
• Type: Full-time (Monday-Friday)
• Location: In-person Pittsburgh, PA
• Pay: $525 weekly
• Mission: To equip young adults with the skills and opportunities needed to launch a professional career in finance or customer experience.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Participate in Training: Engage in intensive in-classroom skill development focusing on Banking, Customer Success, or Insurance Operations & Claims.
• Develop Core Competencies: Cultivate a customer-centric mindset and acquire product and service knowledge essential for business operations.
• Build Professional Skills: Master professional business, communication, interviewing, and networking skills, along with resume building.
• Complete Internship: Gain practical experience through a structured internship at BNY Mellon, applying learned finance and customer experience principles.
• Prepare for Career Launch: Receive ongoing support and guidance to successfully transition into a professional career pathway.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. You must be a high school graduate or GED recipient and have not yet obtained a Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience: Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and available Monday-Friday for the entire program duration.
• Skills: A strong motivation to learn technical and professional skills, coupled with an interest in building relationships or developing an entrepreneurial mindset.
