• Mission: This role is responsible for preparing various tax returns and assisting with accounting functions to ensure client compliance and provide dedicated support.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Tax Return Preparation: Prepare individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns of varying complexities.
• Service Delivery: Perform services within budgeted time by developing technical, time management, and organizational skills.
• Estimate Assistance: Assist in the preparation of quarterly and year-end tax estimates.
• Regulatory Correspondence: Draft response letters to IRS and state notices when needed.
• Accounting Adjustments: Make adjusting entries and complete a trial balance in order to prepare business returns.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. This is an Entry-Level position focused on tax accounting.
• Experience: Completed all requirements to sit for the CPA exam.
• Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong organizational and analytical abilities, ability to work well in a team environment.
• Bonus: Masters in Tax preferred. Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future is required.
